Warehouse Associate – Drive Success with Diversified Supply Inc.

Diversified Supply Inc. is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our growing team!

In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly — from receiving and shipping materials to fulfilling customer orders and making deliveries. If you enjoy staying active, working with a team, and being essential to daily success, this is the role for you!

The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations by performing material handling, receiving, shipping, inventory control, and customer order fulfillment activities. This role is responsible for maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and safety while ensuring customer orders are processed and delivered in accordance with company procedures.


Essential Functions

Operational & Technical Duties

  • Maintain working knowledge of the sales and order fulfillment process, from order entry through billing and delivery.
  • Receive, stage, pick, and ship materials in accordance with company procedures.
  • Verify that all outgoing orders are accurate and accompanied by appropriate documentation.
  • Receive and enter inventory into the warehouse sub-ledger/computer system as assigned.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Pull customer orders, stock shelves, and assist customers at the counter as needed.
  • Deliver materials to customer locations as required.
  • Maintain awareness of products sold and markets served by the company.
  • Assist with maintaining appropriate inventory levels by reporting shortages or discrepancies to management.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Driving & Delivery

  • Safely operate a 26-ft box truck (non-CDL) for scheduled deliveries.
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain required logs.
  • Secure loads and ensure compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
  • Deliver materials and return with required documentation.
  • Maintain truck cleanliness and readiness (fuel, straps, pallet jack, liftgate checks).

Warehouse Operations

  • Assist with receiving, staging, and cycle counting.
  • Support order picking, packing, and material management.
  • Lead vehicle readiness and help with load building for shipments.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and timely processing of delivery paperwork.
  • Maintain a safe, organized warehouse environment.

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record - 3 year MVR pulled
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment preferred
  • Prior experience as a Material Handler preferred
  • Forklift experience preferred (certification a plus or ability to obtain)
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (such as Outlook, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, for purposes of counting inventory, verifying orders, and completing documentation.
